Ioannes On Vacation

Folks,

Your blog meister here at Commentarius de Prognosticis is on vacation, visiting his children. Please accept my apologies. Regular commentary on the state of the Church and the Nation will return within a week. In the meantime, pray for:

Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI
Our Bishops, Priests, and Deacons
Our President, Congress and Supreme Court Justices
Our Governors, State Legislatures, City Executives and Councils, and State and City Judges

Their failures in pulpit and political office are because we do not pray enough. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Indeed, they all are in dire need of spiritual guidance and direction, and if they lack that, then that is because of our failure to bend our knees before the Throne of Grace.

Pray as though your life depends on it, because really, your life does depend on it (mine too, of course).
