Folks,
I simply can't resist tonight's humor where Obama is checking out the acreage down under; the woman in front of him is Australia's Prime Minister, the Honorable Julia Gillard.
Next is a depiction of the application of a new variant of fleaspray from the providers of Fabreze (or Febreze), our very own Proctor and Gamble, by a local police force. Apparently it's being dispensed in the "anti-hippie" formula. I am certain my two cats, Worf and Gabby, consider this justice done. Thanks go to Scotju for this second photograph.

Whilst I enjoy the humor behind these pictures the second one does worry me. Not because of the hippies though, but it does symbolise a certain over-zealousness by the police that is typical when dealing with people who are unhappy with the regime. Well, I for one (and I know I can speak for Ioannes here too) am very unhappy with the abortion and homosexual loving regime we have currently. But how can we fight it when the police are more than happy to beat and pepper spray us? We can laugh at the fleabaggers, but we must also learn from their mistakes should we demand an end to tyranny.
ReplyDeleteBill, the fleabaggers are helping to create the tyranny that we are afraid of. It has been documented that the OWS movement has been financed by people like Soros to effect the changes that they want to destroy our way of life. The cop on the beat has to keep order irreguardless who's in charge. FWIW, I think the cops ought to pepper spray the idiots who are financing the OWS. The thought of Soros and that fat pig Michael Moore bawling their eyes ot from a pepper spraying warms the cockles of my heart! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean scotju, but I was thinking about it in simpler terms. The OWS rabble are protesting against something they disagree with. Now, they may agree with certain parts of godless liberalism but nonetheless they are trying to be heard. I fully support the arrests/pepper spray incidents when they are defacating in the street etc, but to do it to some people sitting down I think crosses a line. Not that it bothers me now, I am glad they were sprayed, but it does set a bit of a precedent when it comes to saying anything against this regime. If I were to protest the countless murders that this government advocates I want to do it without the threat of being sprayed.
ReplyDeletePolice should always and everywhere act professionally. In the case of the OWS protestors protesting without a permit whil disrepecting the property of others, that means hand-cuffing them and carrying them away to jail. "Fleaspraying" them while they were seated and immobile was over the top of what is professional conduct. Nevertheless, the OWS people have consistently goaded the police into more and more aggressive action. This is completely unlike what happened in the Tea Party protests. The Tea Partiers had permits, respected the property of others, clean up after themselves, and obeyed police restrictions. I fear, however, that since the police went beyond the boundaries of protocol in the photograph above, the Obama Administration (which openly sides with the OWS movement) will allow - nay, even require - like treatment for civil and peaceful protests by Tea Partiers.
ReplyDeleteAs for the cause of the OWS movement, it is thoroughly contaminated with Nazism and socialism that it cannot and must not be trusted. The young people doing the protests have no sense of morals or respect for others. They are the dangerous ones. But "we" bred them when we removed Church as one of the three pillars of society: Govt, Free Market and Church.
Absolutely agree 100% Ioannes.
ReplyDeleteYour point about the Obama Administration possibly allowing like-for-like punishments for more civilised protests is the exact fear I have.
